Job Title: Mobile Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Operations Director to lead our Mobile Patrol business unit. As a key member of our Executive team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Mobile Patrol business unit, ensuring all costs are kept to a minimum and efficiency is maximized.
  • Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other Executive team members to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage performance levels, ensuring all staff are fully trained and improving.
  • Implement a safety culture within the driving team, ensuring all vehicles are fitted with appropriate tracking and safety solutions.
  • Ensure all processes are followed by Mobile staff, identifying opportunities to improve business processes and devising plans to implement these changes.
  • Build strong relationships with sub-contractors and design, introduce, and implement new service initiatives.
  • Complete and communicate the monthly roster to ensure Mobile is fully covered.
  • Ensure excellent service delivery from the Mobile Team, including accurate reports, all shifts covered correctly, and all staff trained correctly.
  • Ensure the SmartTask system is fully up to date and accurate at all times, including Runsheets.
  • Ensure all sites have Assignment Instructions and clear guidance on how the Mobile Team need to carry out their role.
  • Deal with Client requests and changes at short notice promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and management of all the vehicles.
  • Carry out monthly client meetings (or as required) with Mobile clients and ensure all commercial proposals are sent promptly and updated once approved.
Requirements:
  • SIA License and DBS check.
  • Mobile patrol experience is essential for this role.
  • UK driving licence with less than six current points.
  • Exceptional attendance.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including responding to emails and verbal requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of computer programs (MS Office).

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working independently and flexing their hours to manage the business and their team. They will also have a high level of discretion in handling confidential matters and the ability to maintain complete confidentiality regarding Company business and personnel issues.
