About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager - Liquid Waste Specialist. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving profitable new business growth through exploring the potential market to collect and transport waste liquid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the liquid waste sector.
- Develop and manage a detailed new business pipeline to provide a clear business forecast of expected volumes and over-achieving on targeted new business sales revenues.
- Produce regular reports to give visibility of current activity and forecast new activity.
- Work closely with the General Manager - Tankers to drive a growth strategy aligned with the needs of the business.
- Maintain accurate data within our CRM platform.
- Liaise regularly with other commercial functions to share pipelines and best practice.
Key Skills/Experience:
- General knowledge of the waste sector and experience of selling liquid waste services.
- Experience of successfully developing, managing, and implementing new business services.
- Good presentation, selling, negotiating, and influential skills.
- Analytical and able to quickly assess issues and recommend and/or implement solutions.
- Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively.
- Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targets.
