Urology Clinical Coordinator

Location: Pilgrim Hospital, Part time 23 hours per week
Estimated Salary: £24,071-£25,674 per annum (£14,763-£15,746 part-time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Medical Administrator in the Urology Department at Pilgrim Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for transcribing digital dictation, managing office communications, and dealing with patient queries.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office environment and possess strong problem-solving skills. A knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience as a medical secretary would be advantageous.
Main Duties:
- Patient administration underpins the patient journey, supports clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality.

Person Specification:Qualifications:
- Typing, Audio and Word/Text Processing skills to RSA III or equivalent knowledge acquired through further experience.
- GCSE English Language Grade C or equivalent.
- NVQ III or equivalent.
Previous Experience:
- Recent Medical Secretarial experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of PAS.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Awareness and knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
- Competent Microsoft Word User.
