Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Teacher to join our primary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced educator to work with a talented team of teachers and support staff. As an SEN Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Teach small groups or one-to-one sessions to pupils with SEN
  2. Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet individual needs
  3. Collaborate with class teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless delivery of lessons
  4. Communicate regularly with parents and carers to share progress and set targets

About the Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a passion for teaching children with Special Educational Needs. You will be someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues alike, demonstrating empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable learners. Your ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities will also be essential in this role.

As a minimum, we require:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN in a primary school setting
