Billing and Collections Specialist

At OpenText, we're looking for a skilled Billing and Collections Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Order to Cash function, you'll play a critical role in ensuring billing delivery excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate interpretation of complex legal agreements and ensure POs meet standards.
- Partner with Sales and Collections to resolve billing and collections issues.
- Drive end-to-end process and practice improvement to deliver on process automation goals.
- Manage external customer/stakeholder inquiries on billing processes and internal controls.
- Follow all internal controls and policies related to order processing and billing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in software billing function; global billing experience in software services or high-tech industry preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of billing systems and Microsoft products.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP Revenue Recognition.
- Demonstrated ability to present information logically and concisely to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
