Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Women's Empowerment Training Specialist to join our team at Voscur.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design and deliver interactive training sessions that help mental health practitioners better understand the complexities of women's lives, including their experiences of inequality and intersectionality.

Salary: £55,000 per annum

About this role:

This 3-hour training session is designed to develop a deeper understanding of the life complexities women may experience and the barriers they report in accessing mental health services.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear unique experiences of service users and explore effective practice through reflective discussion.

Main objectives:

  • To develop a greater knowledge of women's lives throughout the health system.
  • To understand the complexities of the life cycle, diversity, and intersectionality of women.
  • To explore effective practice through reflective discussion.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of gender inequality and its impact on women's lives.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
