We are seeking a highly skilled Female Support Worker to join our Help When You Need It team in Bristol. This part-time fixed term contract opportunity is available from 18.75 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £25,584 (pro rata) and benefits.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support services to women with mental health and housing-related needs. The role involves providing initial immediate support, conducting assessments, and referring clients to the Help When You Need It support workers for short and medium-term outcome-based support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Expert Support: Deliver high-quality triage services to meet the emotional and practical needs of women relating to mental health
  • Case Management: Conduct assessments, allocate case loads, and refer clients to relevant services
  • Communication: Develop effective communication skills to work with colleagues, external agencies, and clients face-to-face and via virtual platforms
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and manage difficult or emergency situations
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to deliver excellent support services
