Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women's Justice Advocate to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with women in the Criminal Justice System, providing intensive support to facilitate their transition from custody back to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • To build trusting relationships with women in the Criminal Justice System, empowering them to access vital services and opportunities to prevent re-offending.
  • To work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure a strong wrap-around support system for each woman, focusing on substance misuse treatment and long-term recovery.
  • To provide dynamic and creative solutions to complex challenges, driving positive outcomes for our clients.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of engaging with vulnerable individuals, particularly those affected by substance misuse and trauma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with women from diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work outside regular hours as required.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £23,000 - £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Access to a comprehensive pension scheme, including a 6% employer contribution.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus statutory holidays.
