Our client, a well-established fresh produce importer, is seeking a National Account Executive to support the National Account Controller in managing key retail accounts. The role involves forecasting, planning, promotions, and account management, with a focus on monitoring business performance, growth, service levels, and quality management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fresh produce or a keen interest in the food industry. The role requires a proactive approach, with the ability to analyze market information and competitor trends, and to track and report against internal and customer targets. The successful candidate will work closely with the National Account Controller to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction. The role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to make a significant contribution to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of fruit and/or vegetable products
  • Forecast and plan sales and inventory levels
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive business growth
  • Monitor and analyze business performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the National Account Controller to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Strong background in fresh produce or a keen interest in the food industry
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (1 in 4 weekend working)
