Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Assistant to join our team in Belfast City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and paid on time.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-quality, pro-active and delivery-focused Accounts Payable/Finance Administrative function. They will also have a strong understanding of computerised accounting/financial systems and be competent in using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and paying invoices in a timely manner
  • Managing supplier relationships and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers
  • Assisting with Purchase Order Processing and Contract Management
  • Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks as required by the finance team

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a high quality, pro-active and delivery focused Accounts Payable/Finance Administrative function;
  • Experience and understanding of a computerised accounting/financial system;
  • Competent user of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Able to meet deadlines and work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
