Payable Ledger Coordinator Job Description:

About the Company:

We are proud to be partnering with a highly successful and prestigious organisation in Belfast City Centre. As a Payable Ledger Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Matching orders and invoices accurately
  • Checking and inputting all invoices for payment onto accounting software
  • Generating BACS/Cheque Payments for all bank accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements and computerised Accounts Payable Ledgers
  • Responding to queries as appropriate
  • Purchase Order Processing in conjunction with budget holders and finance team
  • Administering Tendering processes and maintenance of contract register
  • Contract management and preparation of Business Cases
  • Adhoc accounts administration duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Accounts Payable/Finance Administrative functions
  • Competent user of computerised accounting/financial systems and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and work with high accuracy and attention to detail

Salary: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour
