About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Approach Personnel Ltd. As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing geotechnical support and consultancy services to clients in a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review holistic risk assessments, technical reports, and strategies to create exhaustive plans of works.
  • Lead geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects from project conception to completion, including contract management and team mentorship.
  • Act as a vital point of contact for clients, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist with business development and effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and outside agencies.
  • Write and prepare desk study assessments and reports.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years of experience in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Chartered status and an MSc in Geotechnical engineering are desirable. You should be computer and geotechnical software literate, with a full UK clean driving license and willingness to travel.
