About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our geotechnical consultancy, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review comprehensive risk assessments, technical reports, and strategies to develop exhaustive plans of works.
  • Lead geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, managing contracts and teams of engineers and consultants, and mentoring junior staff.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Contribute to business development, effectively communicating with clients, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Prepare desk study assessments and reports.
About You
  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Chartered, ideally with an MSc in Geotechnical engineering.
  • Proficient in computer and geotechnical software.
  • Full UK Clean Driving License and willingness to travel.
