Job Title: Principal Geotechnical Engineer

We are pleased to be working with a reputable Geotechnical Consultancy to recruit a Principal Geotechnical Engineer as part of their Northamptonshire based team.

About the Role

This Principal role focuses on providing geotechnical support and consultancy services to clients in a range of sectors. The ideal candidate will be a Senior or Principal Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer looking to take their next steps towards an exciting career with a well-established and respected consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review holistic risk assessments, technical reports, and strategies to create exhaustive plans of works.
  • Lead geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects based out of the Northamptonshire office from project conception to completion, including contract management and team mentorship.
  • Act as a vital point of contact for clients, maintaining open lines of communication throughout each contract to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist with business development and effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and outside agencies.
  • Write and prepare desk study assessments and reports.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience of at least 10 years in the geotechnical industry. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
