Chief Sales and Venue Operations Director

Broadwick Entertainment Limited is seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead the sales strategy for Magazine London, one of the largest hybrid spaces in the city.
Job Description:- Sales Leadership
The successful candidate will lead a team of sales professionals to deliver successful sales strategies, ensuring all targets are achieved and KPIs are constantly monitored. They will also ensure the highest standards of sales operations are met, working closely with the Head of Space to define proactive sales strategies and tactics that best support the long and short-term sales performance of the venue.
- Key Responsibilities
The Chief Sales and Venue Operations Director will be responsible for:
- Leading the sales team to deliver successful sales strategies
- Ensuring all sales targets are achieved and KPIs are constantly monitored based on metrics adopted across the business
- Ensuring the highest standards of sales operations for the venue are met
- Working with Spaces & Stories to define proactive sales strategies and tactics that best support the long and short-term sales performance of the venue
- Supporting the sales team with converting and negotiating multi-year and high-value contracts and the management of key high-value clients as and when required
- Marketing
- Working with the central Marketing team and other space leaders to deliver data and evidence-based marketing strategies across the venue
- Ensuring you act as brand guardian and grow the brands across your venue as agreed with the brand team
- Finance
- Ensuring compliance with Broadwick group policies, procedures, and metrics across your venue
- Reporting the relevant figures to the venue's P&L in terms of forecasting and reconciliation to the senior leadership team
- Working with the accounts team to reconcile your venue's P&Ls month to month
- Educating your team in sales when required, ensuring they fully understand the expected standards and their role in delivering them
- Operations
- Working with the Head of Operations to ensure compliance with Broadwick group policies, procedures, and metrics across the division
- Team
- Liaising with the People team and company payroll across salaries, overtime, new starters/leavers, and management of the bonus in partnership with the line manager
- Supporting the line manager with resource planning and leading on sales recruitment for your team
- Leading on the performance management and development of direct line reports
- Identifying training needs and guiding team development, working with the line manager and space leadership team
- Other
- Carrying out ad hoc duties when required
