Sales Leadership Role Overview:
We seek an experienced and driven sales leader to lead our enterprise sales strategy for the UK market. As the Chief Enterprise Sales Director, you will manage a team of 5 Enterprise Account Executives, overseeing the acquisition of new enterprise customers and driving revenue growth in key financial services sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for our digital core banking, OTC derivatives, and treasury solutions, focusing on acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding market share within the UK financial services sector.
- New Business Development: Identify high-value prospects within the UK market, including banks, fintech companies, and financial institutions. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring the team targets the right opportunities for business growth.
- Deal Management & Client Engagement: Take a hands-on approach in managing and supporting key sales opportunities from lead generation through to deal closure. Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to understand their business challenges and articulate how our solutions can deliver measurable value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment in go-to-market strategies and product offerings. Provide valuable feedback to the product team based on client and market insights.
- Sales Performance & Reporting: Drive the sales performance of your team by closely monitoring KPIs and sales metrics. Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership, offering insights into sales activities and forecasts.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Sales Leadership Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience leading high-performing enterprise sales teams in a technology or financial services environment. Proven success in growing and managing teams while delivering significant revenue growth.
- Individual Sales Experience: At least 10 years of experience as an individual contributor in sales, with a strong track record of success in selling complex solutions to enterprise clients. Experience in digital core banking, OTC derivatives, treasury management, or related financial technologies is highly preferred.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the financial services sector, including digital core banking, OTC, and treasury solutions. Familiarity with the UK market, financial regulations, and trends in fintech is highly desirable.
- Strategic & Hands-On Leadership: Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to design and execute sales strategies. Hands-on leadership style with a focus on driving the team to meet and exceed goals.
- Relationship Building & Negotiation Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within client organizations. Skilled in negotiation and closing high-value deals.
- Results-Driven: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering business results. Strong ability to coach and motivate a team to achieve high levels of performance.
