Job Overview

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to support the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. This includes maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring the integrity of user accounts and domain configuration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure services.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and resolving complex infrastructure hardware and software problems, including server and network communication issues.
  • Ensuring the availability of business-critical systems and performing regular examination of server and network event logs.
  • Collaborating with users to understand their requirements and providing technical advice and support to ensure the effective use of IT systems.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in IT infrastructure management.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant IT-related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think clearly and logically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and technical teams.

Desirable Criteria

Experience in dealing with complex IT issues in a large organization, with a strong understanding of ITIL service delivery, change control, and risk management.
