About This Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Inspire People and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in Swansea. As a senior member of our Information Technology Services (ITS) team, you will play a crucial role in helping DVLA build world-class user-focused digital services.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing IT systems on premise and supporting software, core technologies, and infrastructure development projects. Your role will involve operating, maintaining, and supporting the technology stack of the Vault Recovery Environment, including Dell Cyber Recovery Tools such as Cyber Recovery Manager and CyberSense.

You will work closely with our ITS teams and third parties to ensure the smooth operation of Vault services and associated services. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the Vault services are maintained, supported, operated, and documented as required.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong IT background in IT infrastructure and experience in Vault Recovery. You should have experience of supporting or a working knowledge of Dell CRS (Cyber Recovery Services) and be comfortable writing CR runbooks with experience of backup recovery testing.

You should also have strong internal and external stakeholder engagement experience and the ability to influence across all grades within the organisation. Along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
