Career Opportunity: Emergency Department Custodian

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented custodian to join our team at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in the Emergency Department. As a key member of the department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

The successful candidate will have recent experience in cleaning duties, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills.

This role requires flexibility and adaptability, prioritizing your own workload and managing competing demands. You must be willing to undergo regular training and development to maintain your skills and knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Emergency Department
  • Liaise with nursing staff and other departments to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • GCSEs (Grade 9-4 or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Ability to work under non-direct supervision

Estimated Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge while contributing to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
