This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified and experienced Nurses to join a dynamic team at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

The role will involve working closely with our Emergency Department to provide advanced care to acutely ill children. Our team provides care to children requiring interventions such as tracheostomy care, CPAP, or high flow oxygen, as well as those with oncology needs.

We cater to children from ages 0-17 years, providing experience in caring for children with medical, surgical, orthopedic, complex needs, CAMHS, respiratory, and metabolic conditions.

Main Duties

You will work in a modern, bright unit providing care for 33 in-patients in our purpose-built facility at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. We continuously strive to improve our services, keeping children and families at the heart of everything we do.

Your key responsibilities will include developing skills in triage and PGD, while also contributing to the learning needs of our team.

About Us

Our hospital features a Children's Outpatient facility along with a Medical day unit. Our team consists of specialist nurses in Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Epilepsy, and Oncology who support our patients and their families.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £31,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
