Job Summary
The successful candidate will be part of the Principal Medical Limited (PML) team, delivering high-quality primary care and community services to patients across Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will work autonomously, providing timely and patient-centered care to the practice's patient population.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, prioritizing workload to meet the demands of the role.
- Work independently, without direct supervision, to deliver evidence-based clinical care to patients in various settings.
- Develop and implement individual care management plans, ensuring timely and high-quality care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide a coordinated and responsive service to patients.
- Adhere to professional standards, lead by example, and maintain a positive working relationship with the team.

Person Specification
- Relevant professional qualification, such as an Emergency Care or Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.
- Nurse degree or level 6 degree module in minor illness/injury assessment, diagnosis, and management.
- Portfolio of evidence showing achievements in practice/speciality.
- Non-Medical Prescriber Qualification.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Assessor/Mentorship course.
- Experience in teaching and supporting junior staff/students.
Skills and Abilities
- Competence in the use of IT packages, including clinical databases.
- Experience of clinical information systems.
- Ability to relate to people from differing backgrounds.
- Ability to motivate others.
Working Arrangements
The post-holder will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing high-quality and timely patient-centered care to the practice's patient population. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, without direct supervision, and will be responsible for the delivery of evidence-based clinical care and nursing services within their scope of practice.
