Global Talent 2020: A Leading Fine Dining Restaurant Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our flagship restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh's city centre. As a key member of our small, dedicated kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, developing menus that meet our brand standards, and adhering to health and safety protocols.
About the Role:
- Maintain the high standard of food quality
- Develop menus that meet the company brand standards
- Adhere to H&S standards and continue the high reputation of the venue
Requirements:
- Prior experience of producing fresh quality food and experience in volume restaurants in the high street space
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor teams
- Proven flexibility and adaptability in all approaches to team members and concept delivery
- Strong culinary abilities, presentation skills, and food innovation skills
- Effective manager of the kitchen environment, health and safety, COSHH, RIDDOR, recruitment, training, and mentoring of others
- Strong cost & budgetary control skill sets of their area
