We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You will supervise and motivate a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, while also supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive rate of pay (£22-28 per hour) plus our sector-leading benefits and rewards package. Our care home is located in a convenient area, close to public transport links, making it easily accessible for all staff members. With ongoing training opportunities, there is no limit to how far you can progress with us. To succeed in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, along with specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for warm-hearted, compassionate individuals who are committed to providing individualised care and support to our residents. Your key responsibilities include supervising and motivating a team of Care Assistants, supporting the clinical team in medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews, and delivering person-centred care and support to residents.
