We are seeking a skilled Bus Engineering Technician to join our team at National Express Group PLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our vehicles.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to manage the overall maintenance of our vehicles, including inspection, repair, diagnosis, accident repair, and general servicing. You will work closely with our engineering team to champion an inclusive working environment and contribute to the development of our engineers through our engineering training team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance of our vehicles, including inspection, repair, diagnosis, accident repair, and general servicing
  • Work closely with our engineering team to champion an inclusive working environment

  • Collaborate with our team to deliver our vehicles reliably and safely to our customers
Requirements
  • IMI Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering & Maintenance or Equivalent (including Heavy Vehicles)
  • Proven experience of working in a large vehicle maintenance environment
  • A Full CAT D PCV licence or willingness to work towards (for road testing as required)
  • A passion for continuous improvement and personal development
  • Flexibility to work different shift patterns as business requirements dictate
