Job Opportunity: Maintenance Engineer


We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marshalls. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise and skills to our engineering team.


The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of our production process, eliminating downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault finding and equipment maintenance. This will involve working on various types of equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering, with experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a team are also essential.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Eliminate downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault finding and equipment maintenance.
  • Work on various types of equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
  • Conduct electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with operatives and team leaders from both maintenance and production.

Desirable Skills:



  • 17th or 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
  • PLC fault-finding skills, with knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC.
  • Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
