Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Shropshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or chemicals industries.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  2. To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
  3. Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
  4. Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications.
Requirements

  1. ONC - Multi-skilled Engineering.
  2. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing.
  3. HND or HNC diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  4. Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.
  5. Experience in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, or chemicals is most welcome.
