Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and compassionate mental health specialist to join our client's community mental health team in Tunbridge Wells. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and be able to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Details:

  • Location: Tunbridge Wells
  • Duration: Initial 3-month contract
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Estimated Salary: £26/hour (approximately £48,000/year)

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in multi-disciplinary assessments of patients' health conditions
  • Formulating and implementing care plans
  • Providing treatment, as necessary
  • Using evidence-base practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current and valid registration with the NMC
  • Proven experience within a community recovery role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
