Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire, providing high-quality care and support to our customers in a care home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing, clinical, and personal support to customers as outlined in Person Centred Plans.
- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and recording information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Lead a team of support staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
