Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our customers with physical disabilities.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, leading a team of support staff and ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift. Your expertise will be essential in prioritizing and planning, delegating relevant activities for the support team, and ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care and support to customers with physical disabilities.
- Lead a team of support staff and manage the shift effectively.
- Prioritize and plan, delegating relevant activities for the support team.
- Ensure the needs of customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
