Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our customers with physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and support to customers in our care homes and supported living services.
- Lead a team of support staff to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift.
- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and record-keeping in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Support ongoing assessments and observations of customers' health and well-being.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
