Nurse Practitioner

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our customers. You will lead a team of support staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift. You will prioritize and plan, delegating relevant activities for the support team, ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring timely updates and support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.

Requirements- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
