Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and support to customers in our care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services.
- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and record-keeping in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning tasks to ensure the smooth management of shifts.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure a safe and caring environment for our customers, supporting with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
