Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a reputable nursing home in Crook, County Durham. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care and support to residents, adhering to individual care plans
- Provide 24/7 care, checking residents at regular intervals according to their care plan
- Respond promptly to calls for assistance while maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach
- Engage in conversations to help maintain residents' sense of identity and uphold their dignity
- Assess and plan nursing care requirements, monitoring and administering medications as needed
- Take residents' vital signs, including temperatures, blood pressures, and pulses
- Write accurate and comprehensive records
- Supervise junior staff and manage the unit effectively
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Trained in medication administration
- Dementia experience and knowledge

- Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 and an annual salary of up to £41,184
