We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a reputable nursing home in Crook, County Durham. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support to residents, adhering to their individual care plans
  • Provide 24/7 care, conducting regular checks and responding promptly to calls for assistance
  • Engage in meaningful conversations to maintain residents' sense of identity and dignity
  • Assess and plan nursing care requirements, monitoring and administering medications as needed
  • Take vital signs, including temperatures, blood pressures, and pulses
  • Record and maintain accurate records of resident care
  • Supervise junior staff and manage the unit effectively
  • Offer emotional support to residents and their families

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Medication administration training
  • Dementia care experience
