About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Director to join our Transaction Banking team at NatWest Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a best-in-class customer experience, ensuring our clients receive the best banking solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for new transaction banking business with new and existing clients, covering the whole product set from traditional payments to digital products, including open banking.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the bank, helping to grow your career and network.
  • Financial Targets: Manage and deliver against stretching, dynamic business development and business retention financial targets at individual, sector, and business level.
  • Client Management: Deliver and embed customer opportunity plans in collaboration with the team, leading and delivering client pitches, proposals, and responses to tender documents.
  • Industry Insights: Build client and competitor insights and share these with your colleagues, promoting the transaction banking business by attending internal, industry, and customer events.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record in an origination role, with direct accountability for financial targets.
  • Knowledge: Experience in developing business for both new and existing clients, using a sales management framework, and knowledge of the regulatory agenda in the financial services market.
  • Skills: Strong customer focus, excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and proven operational risk acumen.
