Transaction Banking Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to act as an advisor and thought leader, generating new income streams and identifying business opportunities. The successful candidate will lead engagements across Corporate & Investment Banking, consolidating clients' plans, and working with multiple clients across various locations and industries to apply flow, structured, and FinTech solutions across all solution sets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop clear client value propositions aligned to client needs and focused on creating differentiated client experiences and value.
- Work across the Transaction Banking landscape and agree on the appropriate level of client service, including partnering and acquiring clients to gain market share and growth.
- Formulate a compelling vision and clearly articulate the benefits and future applications of any solutions, trends, client impacts across the Transaction Banking solution landscape.
- Identify opportunities across Transaction Banking to expand and influence the market, client, and/or industry through the application of digital and data disruptors.
- Lead the simplification of Sales ways of working/processes/measures to enable transparency, better controls, and speed to market.
- Ensure annual financial targets and goals are met for the individual client portfolio across the Transaction Banking franchise.
- Contribute to and meet sales and revenue targets as set in the annual budget.
- Understand the defined client portfolio in terms of size, market, concentration, risk portfolio, return, potential, buyer behaviors, and competitor analysis within the Transaction Banking franchise for the relevant product sets.
- Ensure client segments have the latest account plans, working capital modeling, and strong deal pipelines.
- Execute Standard Bank's global sales strategy within the defined client portfolio, building relationships with key decision makers and senior leadership within the portfolio and industry.
- Coach and guide wider Transaction Banking Sales teams.
- Coordinate resources internally across the group at all levels to execute delivery of client requirements to position the bank ahead of the competition.
- Represent Standard Bank at thought leadership forums and industry events.
- Promote the Standard Bank brand and culture.
- Build a global network within the bank and the Global Sales client portfolio.
