About the Role

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an Industry Liaison Officer to join our Animal and Land-Based Department at EKC Group. As an Industry Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for securing and monitoring work placements for students, and acting as the main point of contact for employer relations in the Animal and Land-Based Department.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Securing and monitoring work placements for students
  • Acting as the main point of contact for employer relations in the Animal and Land-Based Department
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of employer events
  • Organizing employer visits for students
  • Ensuring employers return required documentation in a timely fashion
  • Working with students to identify employability skills gaps and supporting them to develop these skills

About You

We are looking for an Industry Liaison Officer who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is highly organized, and able to prioritize work while applying a flexible and responsive approach to work demands.

You will interact with a diverse group of employers and students, and should demonstrate strong attention to detail and be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

A relevant Level 3 qualification is preferred, but not mandatory. If you have experience of working in the Animal or Land-Based field, along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the future generation, this position will be ideal for you.
