We're seeking an experienced Chief Safety Officer to lead our commitment to Synlait Safe, driving the development and continuous improvement of our safety culture through proactive strategies.
- Lead a national team of health and safety professionals across multiple manufacturing sites, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in safety practices and build capability in leaders to ensure their teams deliver safely and responsibly.
- Develop and implement safety improvement initiatives to enhance overall safety and wellbeing of employees.
- Create innovative strategies aligning with organisational goals and best practices.
- Champion a culture of wellbeing, integrating mental health initiatives and wellness programs enhancing employee engagement and productivity.
Salary
The estimated annual salary range for this role is $180,000-$220,000, depending on experience.
About You
You'll be a senior leader with extensive experience in Health and Safety programmes, technically sound with previous experience working in complex manufacturing and critical risk facilities.
- Ideally 10 years' experience in a senior health, safety, and wellbeing role, preferably within manufacturing or a related industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk management practices, and employee wellbeing frameworks.
