Sales Director UK&I Leadership Position

As a key member of the UK&I Consumer Leadership Team, this role is responsible for setting the direction for the business and delivering short and long-term goals. The Sales Director UK&I will lead a high-performing team to strengthen relationships with retailers and drive business growth.
This role is a key advocate of McCormick in the UK&I market, heavily focused on external relationships. The individual will be responsible for bringing the voice of the customer alive in the business and helping McCormick adjust its strategies to be successful with UK&I retailers.
Main Responsibilities- Develop a strategic business plan with sales management involvement, including sales, GM, areas of opportunity, and profit objectives.
- Remove barriers for the external sales force to accomplish goals and objectives, maintaining relationships at the highest organizational levels within the company and with customers.
- Direct project and resources to gain maximum headspace penetration, working with McCormick management and client executives.
- Direct the strategic sales effort to win and maintain business, accountable for cultivating senior relationships at strategic accounts.
- Develop and manage direct reports, mentoring broader talent, and leading MKC teams regularly and informally.
- Strong FMCG sales experience working with UK retailers, with a track record of building trust and winning relationships with the UK's biggest retailers.
- Experience developing people and leading high-performing teams.
- A self-starter who can inspire and set direction, develop high-performing teams, and be a great team player.
- Experience managing P&Ls over $100M, with a track record of delivering profitable growth and market share gains.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
- Able to build relationships at the highest organizational levels within the company and with strategic customers.
- Understands key financial drivers and has developed effective systems to monitor accounts and territory.
