Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production of management accounts and oversight of month-end processing
  • Provide high-quality financial analysis and management information to the senior management team
  • Produce financial forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making
  • Evaluate the company's performance using key data and performance indicators
  • Help embed robust accounting procedures
  • Proactively champion and own continuous improvement in relation to controls, processes, systems, and data
  • Supervise a member of the team currently overseeing billing and payables and the development of the billing process and strategy
  • Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional and inter-departmental initiatives and projects
  • Be a point of contact for the leadership team
Background and Experience:
  • A post-qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role
  • Commercial and business acumen
  • Comfortable influencing and challenging senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of cost accounting would be beneficial but not essential
  • Working knowledge of Xero highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of STRIPE and Hubspot (equivalent CRM) desirable, but willingness to become highly proficient in the technology over time essential
  • Analytical mind with aptitude in numeracy
  • A problem-solver with attention to detail
  • Organisational and leadership skills
