As a Psychology graduate looking to pursue a teaching career, you may find this opportunity appealing. Protocol Education Ltd is seeking an individual to work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in SEN schools across West Yorkshire. The role involves providing support to students with additional needs and collaborating with teaching staff.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a safe and productive learning environment while adhering to school policies. Key responsibilities include:

In terms of requirements, flexibility in approach is essential. While existing experience working with children or adults with SEND is advantageous, it is not required. This is a temporary position, but there is a possibility of converting it to a permanent role at a later date. You will need to possess the necessary qualifications and training for the job.

We undertake thorough safeguarding checks on all our workers, including an online search and a valid enhanced DBS check. This role comes with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. As a full-time or part-time employee, you can expect flexible scheduling and access to your own diary. Furthermore, you'll have the chance to develop your knowledge of the national curriculum and enhance your skills in a dynamic education setting.
