Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in the East of the Council. As a Grade 10 Practitioner, you will support the Practice Manager OT and the Team of dedicated OT staff, providing guidance, advice, and supervision on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Practice Manager OT and the Team of dedicated OT staff in the East of the Council.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and supervision to OT staff on a regular basis.
  • Hold a small complex case load and assist newly qualified OTs in their development and practice.
  • Work closely with Community Therapists to improve client outcomes for the residents of Cheshire East.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and well-rounded HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills and the ability to learn, work, and develop to become both autonomous within the occupational therapy service.
  • Ability to provide a client-centred approach to care and demonstrate sound clinical knowledge in evidence-based assessment and management of a variety of conditions.
  • Ability to work within the Council's policies and professional practice, maintaining accurate and comprehensive client documentation.
