About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Community Stroke Rehabilitation Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with stroke-related injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for patients with stroke-related injuries.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working in a community or acute setting, with a focus on stroke rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
