Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual to bring people together through shared activities in community venues across North Somerset, Bristol, and South Gloucestershire.

The Group Facilitator will provide a range of vibrant, supportive face-to-face and online groups to people with a dementia diagnosis and their carers. This includes providing information, support, and guidance on living with dementia.

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality services that make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging face-to-face and online groups for people with dementia and their carers
  • Provide information, support, and guidance on living with dementia
  • Work closely with local communities to promote our services and engage new participants
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of dementia and its impact on individuals and families
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults or a willingness to learn
