Job OverviewThe Wellbeing and Activities Assistant will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. This includes maintaining a safe living and working environment, reporting any changes in residents' condition, supporting with ordering and preparing supplies, and establishing links with the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in planning and delivering activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' conditions and report any changes to the Wellbeing Coordinator and Home Manager.
- Establish links with local community groups and organizations to provide opportunities for intergenerational activity and engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will have a positive attitude towards older people and a commitment to providing stimulating and quality activities and social events. You will also have previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or Dementia setting.
