About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Dementia Support Specialist Apprentice with the ST MONICA TRUST. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to individuals living with dementia and other mental and physical health issues.

The Trust's commitment to excellence is evident in their delivery of high-quality care and well-being services across five retirement villages in and around Bristol. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs of older adults.

In this role, you will engage in hands-on activities such as assisting with food choices, serving drinks, and supporting individuals with eating and drinking. You will also contribute to building a supportive community through effective communication and teamwork.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The Trust offers comprehensive training for the Adult Care Worker Level 2 and ongoing support from experienced staff members.
