Buffet Operations Manager - Culinary Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buffet Operations Manager - Culinary Expert to join our team at Butlin's. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

About the Role
  • Support the Head Chef in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the buffet kitchen, ensuring seamless execution of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement innovative menu concepts, taking into account guest preferences, dietary requirements, and seasonal ingredient availability.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory management, and labor efficiency to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve guest satisfaction, based on feedback and performance metrics.
About You
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in buffet operations, menu planning, and culinary management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of culinary professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, with a focus on quality, service, and attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 Food Safety certification, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
