About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Butlin's in Bognor Regis. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the buffet restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the planning, preparation, and delivery of menus, ensuring that food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Lead a team of up to 40 kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure that they are equipped to deliver excellent service.
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we meet our budget targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, and that our kitchen environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring that they are aligned with our brand values and standards.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef who is passionate about delivering exceptional food and service. You will have a proven track record of leading a team, managing budgets, and ensuring that high standards are maintained. You will be a strong communicator, able to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and will be committed to ongoing learning and development.
