About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at beBee Professionals. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Supervise the kitchen team and ensure smooth operation during service, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize supply ordering.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong track record of kitchen management and team leadership.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients, with a focus on menu innovation and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
