Job Description:

As a Sheltered Housing Officer with the City of Edinburgh Council, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults in our sheltered housing developments. This is a fixed-term position until 30/01/2026, with a salary range of £25,322 - £27,727 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide emergency responses and tailored advice to support individuals in need.
  2. Assess initial health, housing, or financial needs and make referrals to specialist agencies as required.
  3. Develop relationships with local community groups and services to enhance support for citizens.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

You will need to have experience in providing support to vulnerable adults, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision. You must also be able to assess initial health, housing, or financial needs and make referrals to more specialist agencies where required.
